Did you know that you can use Google Translate to write? I did not know this either until recently. This information came to me from Crystal Priest, one of the ACTEM listserv members.
Open Google Chrome and go to: http://translate.google.com/
Set the translation from English to English. Then in the lower left hand corner of the text box you will find a microphone. Click on the microphone and start talking. When you are done, you will see the text in the text box. There is also a speaker in the right hand corner to hear what you recorded.
Then, copy and paste the text into a word document. You will need to copy and paste each text into a word document.
Personally, I found an external microphone works better then a built-in microphone. Also, make sure to speak slowly.
